Co-Memorate

Clearly I spend a lot of time thinking about not just Post Tape, but people, and how we interact and share things. That's been one of the most interesting things in launching Post Tape.

It's really exciting when you can see the concept really click in for someone after initially seeing it, and then the wheels start turning. I've heard so many unique ways and niches Post Tape could be useful for. One of the ones I can't stop thinking about is for travel.

Imagine you and 4 friends have a vacation booked for Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, Mexico. If you don't know it, look it up and then go. I'm not a beach person but I like their beaches. And the fish tacos. Muchos tacos pescado, si.

You all rented a house, you're playing music all week, and creating memories around these songs. So you put them into a playlist. Maybe it's a collaborative one or one person does it, but either way, at the end of the trip you have a playlist that has all these songs that are significant to the 5 of you and various parts of your trip. That's awesome, right?!

What an incredible thing to have. You could share it around the group, and it just sits there in your Spotify/Apple, slowly moving down the chain as you add more albums and playlists to your library.... ORRRRRR.... you could turn it into a Post Tape and surprise the rest of the group with their own to keep and remember this awesome trip by!

Or, if you want to encourage your friends to add to the playlist, make it ahead of time and order your Post Tapes. As long as you don't accidentally get rid of or change the link, you can add songs as the trip goes on. You can even order the covers later and use photos from your trip!

This specific scenario has been bouncing around in my head for awhile, but if you have any other ideas or a totally different scenario you could see Post Tape being used in, PLEASE, email me!

Thanks, Adrien.
